Spot on. Like Coretta Scott King said, I must remind you that starving a child is violence. Neglecting school children is violence. Punishing a mother and her family is violence. Discrimination against a working man is violence. Ghetto housing is violence. Ignoring medical need is violence. Contempt for poverty is violence.
Netflix just cancelled Daredevil. This is so unfair. No one can tell us this show was doing poorly. Or Luke Cage. Or Jessica Jones, which is obviously next to get cancelled. Want to know the real reason for Netflix cutting ties with Disney/Marvel? Because Disney is launching its own streaming service and will probably be yanking all of its content from Netflix. So to retaliate, Netflix cancels some of its most popular shows. And I know what you’re gonna say, “Disney can just revive them on their streaming service.” And you’re right. They can. But will they? After all, Netflix has tainted these shows by cancelling them so Disney might just not bother and I hope they do but it’s not looking good.
